Our Mission
SonDuo is a percussion duet formed by Braedon Bomgardner and Nathan Smith. SonDuo is committed to fostering, creating, and presenting adventurous works of music with the emphasis on collaboration. Inspired by the unifying power of music, SonDuo brings exuberance, idiosyncrasy, and connectivity through percussion in all its forms to the audience.

Why “SonDuo”
The name “SonDuo” was created to emphasize the duets personal background and experiences. Both duet members lost significant loved ones in their lives. The thought of using “Son” occurred as a way to honor our loved ones, and to never forget the lives we are able to live, the music we are privileged to make, and the love we are able to spread through our performance. This duet is a tribute to our families, both here, and in our hearts.
